![]() ![]() Tony is a member of the Board of Directors of the Centre for Professional Development Limited in Sydney, and is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology. He teaches at the dental school at Charles Sturt University in Orange, and has presented lectures throughout Australasia, and in North America and Europe, on topics related to complex restorative dentistry, and dental implantology. Tony has been the Co-editor and Co-author of a textbook on implant dentistry that is used as a reference worldwide. He has a strong interest in dental education. Tony is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, serving on a number of ADA (NSW Branch) committees as well as being a former member of the ADA(NSW) Council. Tony has been in specialist practice in Canberra, both in the military and in the civil sphere, since 1994. After completing a tour as the RAAF’s Director of Dental Services, Tony retired from the Air Force in 1998. ![]() ![]() He joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 1978 whilst still an undergraduate student, and served in a number of posts throughout Australia. He was made a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1994.Ī large part of Tony’s practicing life has been in the military. He completed his dental training (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) at the University of Adelaide in 1980, and was awarded his specialist qualification (Master of Dental Surgery, Prosthodontics) in 1990. Tony was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. ![]()
